Community Fun to Assist Law Enforcement
Last year’s Chili Cook-Off was a tremendous success, with the Anniston Police Department earning first place and proudly taking the trophy to their department for the past year. Now, it’s time once again to see if they can defend their title and bring the trophy back to Anniston.
Proceeds from the event directly support law enforcement agencies by providing resources that may not fit within their budgets. While some agencies use the funds for specialized training, others focus on acquiring equipment that enhances safety and strengthens their ability to protect the community.
The Battle of the Badges Chili Challenge
It’s time for the 3rd annual Battle of the Badges Chili Challenge. This challenge goes out to all police and fire agencies that would like to put up their best chili recipe’s to win the overall county. The winner of this challenge will receive a trophy that they can present in their particular agency until the next years event where they will again have to compete to retain it or hand it to another department. Who will win, Fire or Police? There is only one way to know for sure, enter the challenge!
